Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass


Skupina hrá podľa ich vlastných slov pôsobivý, nenazdobený a intenzívne tradičný bluegrass. Nie je to žiaden hybridný alebo štýlovo-poprehýbaný štýl. Je to energická hudba založená na tradícii južanských huslových kapiel a tiež aj plačlivého, opusteného a zapadákovského horalského blues. Kapela na čele s Dannym Paisleyom toto všetko pretkáva osobitým driveom a energiou a vlastným citom. Kapela vydala tohto roku v spoločnosti svoj prvý album s názvom The Room Over Mine. Zloženie kapely je lead vokal je Danny Paisley, ktorý hrá aj na gitaru. Na husle hrá T.J. Lundy, bendžo trápi Bobby Lundy, na basu hrá Michael Paisley a ďalším členom je mandolínista Donny Eldreth Jr. Kapelu založil otec Dannyho a Michaela Paisleyovcov Bob. Bob však zomrel v roku 2004.

Michael Martin Murphey


Texaský rodák je jedným z najväčších amerických pesničkárov v oblasti country, western a bluegrassovej hudbe. Narodila sa v roku 1945 a vyrastal v Dallase. Už od malička mal rád príbehy o kovbojoch a poéziu písal už ako tínejdžer. Už v 60-tych rokoch hral v rôznych kluboch zmes folku, country a swingu v okolí Dallasu. Študoval na University of California práve poéziu a písanie a onedlho sa stal známym pesničkárov. Na svojom konte má množstvo albumov a samozrejme veľa hitov. V roku 2009 sa mu podarilo vydať bluegrassový album.

Toby Keith


Toby Keith sa narodil 8. júla 1961 v Clintone v Oklahome. Je to americký spevák, pesničkár a herec. Jeho debutový album mu vyšiel v roku 1993 v Mercury Records a v tomto vydavateľstve mu vyšli ešte aj ďalšie jeho albumy. V roku 1999 sa upísal vydavateľstvu Dreamworks Records, s ktorým získal úspech s albumom How Do You Like Me Now?, s ktorého debutový singel sa stal jednotkou v amerických hitparádach a podľa rebríčku časopisu Billboard aj country jednotkou v roku 2000. Aj za ďalšie tri albumy v tomto vydavateľstve získal Platinovú platňu. V roku 2005 bolo toto vydavateľstvo zatvorené a tak Toby založil svoju vlastnú nahrávaciu a vydavateľskú spoločnosť Show Dog Nashville. V roku 2005 sa ukázal aj ako herec vo filme Broken Bridges a v roku 2008 nahral ďalší film Beer For My Horses. Nuž možno sa Toby dočká aj Oskara. Suma sumárum - Toby nahral jedenásť štúdiových albumov, niekoľko výberoviek, dva vianočné albumy, 40 piesní sa umiestnilo v rebríčku Billboard Hot Country Songs, vrátane osemnástich skladieb na prvom mieste a ďalších sedemnástich v prvej desiatke.
